Honda CB1100R
Just finished this Tamiya 1:12 Honda CD1100R. Built it box stock using a couple of different options that came with it. I used the smaller rear guard, lower handle bars. Paint was rattle can red, white, gold, semi gloss & flat black. Had a few issues with the decals not setting properly, but other then that, is a very good kit.

Re: Honda CB1100R
Did you try micro sol?
Other than the decals - awesome. I remember these big old bastards. I'd love the chance to ride one.

Young riders would take one look at the width (or lack thereof) of the tyres and shy away from it.
BUt these were the bikes I lusted after in my youth - along with the Z1100 & GS1000

Re: Honda CB1100R
Nice bike, good job. Was it an older kit or just poor decals?

The decals seemed to be a bit thick Pretty sure it's only a reasonably new kit.

Re: Honda CB1100R
Very nice work. Looks real.
I built quite a number of Tamiya bike kits during the 1980s, and yours looks as good as any I did.
