If you click on the link in my original post you will see other images.
Re: Retro F1 with a real Twist
I purchased a cheep F1 kit last year to do the same thing, its just a matter of finding the right hot rod body for it, not necessarily a 32, but something along these lines.

Re: Retro F1 with a real Twist
That is CGI right? The first pic in the link in the warehouse looks real.
This has so many possibilities, so many combinations
I'm not hugely familiar with F1 kits, I only have one and it's Tamiya 1/20th, are there any 1/24-25th F1 kits out there?

I am pretty sure it is CG mate, Adam showed be a few weeks ago.
I purchased a Revell 1/24 F1 car at a flea market, about 2 years ago, brand new for $10, with a very similar idea in mind.
Funny enough, with all the cutting it would require, the kit has DREMEL sponsorship, ironic i think.
Something will happen soon i think.

Re: Retro F1 with a real Twist
This is kinda where I was going when I started this coupe over thirty years ago. By the time I had finished it last year it had taken a few detours and ended up being a salt car. The front wing is a Tamiya Camel Lotus and the side scoops and rear tunnels are Oldsmobile Aerotech. Ducktail from a Porsche and rear fenders from T Rantula. Aero tanks inspired by Ice T.
The 32 coupe looks goods and I really like the raw look of the carbon fibre. Cool!
