Re: Ballarat NNL 2015
You,re welcome Fred - glad you enjoyed the day! Still can't believe how good those chips were, even when they were stone cold.
Thanks to everyone who came along and took part. It was great to catch up with the 'nerds'.
It was another successful show, 180 odd models on the tables, and another classic sunny Ballarat Sunday. See you all again next year. Tim

Re: Ballarat NNL 2015
Sorry I missed it again.
I've noted the rough timing in my diary for next year, but even if I cant do it, I will be back, eventually.
Much as I tried to avoid the new store at Akahabara, I couldn't resist and ended up inside, it's an eight level mega store with a footprint of maybe 60 by 150 metres. There's one whole floor dedicated to automotive with a bunch of useful stuff to be found on at least dfour more levels.
Most of what followed me home was 1/43 scale die cast, tools, expendables and a very slick new air brush. I finally even got me a couple of bulk packs (100 each) of number eleven blades. I have a few pics if you're interested, but right now I have to check elswhere for event pics, to see how much fun you guys had.
PS, the orange car now has a twin, my daughter says it's very greedy of me to have a new red one parked in the driveway with the orange car. But we all kow I had to get the red one because they are faster.

Re: Ballarat NNL 2015
Black cars are fastest (it's all to do with photon absorption vs photon reflection). You'd better get one of them as well...

Re: Ballarat NNL 2015
That would be good, it may even motivate me to gomfa and build a model, maybe even two.
And having done that, I would have to attend to show them off.

Re: Ballarat NNL 2015
Hey there lads. There will definitely be a show and dates (around the same time as normal) will be confirmed at the end of next week.
Theme is 'Italian'. I will post a new thread with all the details. Sorry to keep you waiting and apologies if I have held up any projects Winnebago this year Fred?
