70 dodge superbee pro touring

Hi started this one after seeing an feature in a magazine and loved the look of it. Have lowered it as far as I could using a modified independant front end and later model rear end. Using the rims and tyres from on of the testor kits and using a dodge v10 as motorvation. Installed a flat firewall and front apron and am using a big alloy radiator which will be set up with twin thermo fans. Cheers and thanks for looking

I like the wheels on this and there's nothing like a V10 for motivation, any more done on this one?

The Superbee has too be one of the toughest looking muscle car's out there...and your making it meaner, tougher and lower??...Nice!!

Hi got a bit done on this one over the past couple of days. I removed all of the roof gutter rails and trims around the front and rear screens and also changed the twin bonnet scoops for a moulded in cuda scoop and sprayed on a light coat of primer to see how everything looks. Cool work so far. From the front that scoop looks like it came of a B2 bomber! (Or is that just me?)

Thanks 70cudatj and antwon for your comments. Have a small update on the build, was able to get some paint on it today and have sprayed it duplicolor acid rush rattle can. Will wait for a week or so before polishing and then clear coat. Also found some scoops in the parts box that I modified to fit the rear quarter panels but not sure if I'm sold on them yet. Will wait until the build gets further along before I make the call on them. Was able to polish it out tonight as here we are in winter and was able to stick it in front of the gas heater for a couple of hours last night and seemed to cure the paint really nice. Then going thru my decal box I came across a plain black stripe that I added along with one of the dirty donny superbee decals that I got of a mate of mine. Hope to give it a clear coat in the next couple of weeks when I know the decals are nice and dry. Also added a couple of pics of it sitting next to a stock height superbee. Hi a small update of what I have been working on for the past couple of nights. Removed the rear seat and had to make up a frame to hold some flat sheet styrene so I could place rear buckets in its place. Had to brace the rear parcel shelf as it was flopping about without the seat. Will be extending the centre console to the rear of the buckets with another spare tub that I have. Thinking of doing the interior in bright red to contrast with the gold. Cheers and thanks for looking, Steve

That is looking SICK!! The paint really suits it, and the interior idea is spot on !!

Have been working on a chassis for it that I found in the parts box and currently modifying it to make it fit. Hope to have the chassis completed by the weekend and then making a flat floor pan for it. Cheers and thanks for looking. Cheers Steve
