1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340
This is a heavily modified kit with lots of scratchbuilt garbage (trash ) metal and plastic components, plus a MCG photoetch kit, partially used. When I remember the original kit had metal axles front and rear... I could shout at the people at Revell. Anyway, this build does not have metal axles, but all kinds of other metal. Mainly in the suspension. More detail pics below. Thanks for looking.

That's a 1/24th scale kit, right? The hyper-detailing is just breathtaking. Combined with some fine detail molding by Revell, it looks realer than realer. Brilliant!

Re: 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340
Thank you. Yes (and no), it is (was) the 1:25 'Streetburner' Revell kit. Apparently this is the better one than the other, the 1:24 kit, although with all those body shape inaccuracies (the whole front, wheel wells, body sides), I'm not sure. As I found out during the build, this styrene kit was based on an earlier die cast model.

Thanks. A little overdone there, a lesson for the next build...

This is one of my favorite builds Csaba, the work that has gone into this is outstanding
... and I'm qualified to say that, I've seen this in the flesh and it's a winner for sure.
Cheers TJ

Thank you so much, Tim. I am still kicking myself for not taking a picture of you holding this model in your hand - a missed opportunity...

Wicked build dude. No such thing as overdone detail when the details are done right and this is the right way to do it. Well done.
