Very nice work Bryce, very cool looking car. Are the pinstrips a decal or are you girfted and very good and hand painting?
Great finish on the paint, what clear did you go with?

Thanks for all the nice comments guys - really appreciate it. Very Happy

The pin stripes are decals from the old Monogram '56 Chevy Bel Air kit.

Paint is PowerPlus rattle cans - Ice blue and Cyan blue with several coats of PowerPlus clear on top.

The steering wheel is from the '65 Chevelle station wagon kit - it was one I had laying around and had the look I was after.

No, but you do need a shitload of patience. I just started on an AMT '49 Ford re-pop and not a single piece fits together without a lot of heavy massaging. Even the bonnet is about a scale inch too long. It's enough to make me build Tamiya Ferraris the rest of my life. Geez I wish Tamiya made hot rod and custom models... rant
