7TH NSW N.N.L. TITLES

Hey guys just a quick note to let you know we're doing the NSW NNL Titles again! Here's some basic details with more to come!

7TH NSW NNL TITLES

Date: 5th of April 2009
Location: Anglican Church Hall River St Tumut NSW
Open at 8am.
Entries 8.30 to 10.30am.
Presentations at 3pm.

As usual they'll be heaps of catagories and prizes to keep everyone happy! Last year we had over 20 catagories and gave away over 60 model kits! This year will be even bigger!

I'll post up the catagories shortly, hope to see you all there!
Pre event Pizza night at my place again too!

So any Melbournians up for a Road trip??

if we get say 4 or 5 of us all in the one car and split the tab this could be a fun and fairly cheap weekend!!

Not long to go now guys! Still frantically organising the event(since I don't organise it properly) and finalising some more sponsors(if you call them that), also have lined up a bit of a bonus for all entrants that might benefit you until the end of the financial year!

Hey OZBUILDER A model is model, doesn't matter whether its worthy. I've seen over the years some roughies and many with paintjobs about as good as a fencepost, even checkmate got a couple of those , and I also have a few unworthy ones that I'm taking to Tumut ,because , they are still models and they just add to the interest of the event. So bring some , we should , or may find something interesting about your cars and you will definetly learn something new. And you always get someting in the raffle!

Hey OZ and everobne else , I am definetly going to NNL Tumut even though we are moving house . I'm not going to pass it up like last year due to my work/ training schedule . I can unpack boxes any old time after Tumut . So I'll see youze all at Tumut.

Looking forward to seeing all you guys there, we can have a meet and greet at my place on the Saturday night again Paul, we're doing pizza night again for anyone interested. Last year it was great! Got to clean out the shed though!

Show sounds great and would love to come. Is there many places to stay and many sights to see down at Tumut?

There's a heap of places to stay around Tumut Kane, try:
The Tumut Motor Inn Ph 02 69474523 they'll look after you, tell them your there for the model show!

As for things to do and see there's plenty! Tumut is at the base of the Snowy Mountains scheme, Blowering Dam is a 5 minute drive up the hill, Ken Warby set the world water speed record there years ago! Talbingo's a bit further up and does tours of the T2 power station. There's plenty of fishing if thats your thing(not realy mine though!) The beautiful Tumut river and its various tourist walks, which are about 300m from the model comps venue! Lots of parks, pubs and other cool stuff! Something for everyone. Adelong's a short drive and has a lot of nice old gold mining stuff at the Adelong Falls.
On the Saturday night we run a meet and greet so everyone can catch up! You'll have a great time and meet a lot of the other forum members aswell as a lot of other fellow modellers! Hope to see you there.

P.S. Have any of you Sydneysiders thought of maybe car pooling for the trip down? Might save some money and make the trip less boring!

With the Snowy's there, I guess it would be a good spot to bring my mountain bike.

Plenty of National Parks and tracks for Mountain biking! I'll even show you my BMX! 1985 Diamond back striker! With Skyway tuffs! Looking forward to seeing you OZ, it'll be the best chance for the members of this forum to meet each other face to face, cant wait.
