`55 Flip nose.
AMT kit, quick build, nothing special. No lights yet as i am thinking of the best way to stealth them, to keep the nasty look.

Looks good, great stance and looks mean. Do those wheels come in the kit?

The wheels and front tyres are part of this release. The rear tyres are out of a earlier release of this kit from the `80s.

This release is sold as a 53, but my first one of these from the early 80s is a 55. Same kit so go figure . The earlier ones also had a tilt bed, but the rams are not in this release.
This is a easy kit to build. The only fit issue i have with these is to move the bonnet hinges so it lines up with the cab better. There are not a lot of parts, so not much can go wrong. If there is something more specific you want to know, just ask.
The stock 55 that AMT do is supposedly tricky, but i have not built one. I will get one one day to find out .
If you want real pain to build, try Revell`s XKSS Jaguar. That is a nightmare. Nothing fits properly, i have had to fettle everything so far, and i have not got to paint yet. But it will get done, i will not let a piece of plastic beat me.

Thanx Steve, looking at the parts I could never figure out why people say it's a tough build.
The AMT stock chassis has lots of parts but I didn't find it too tough when I built it about fifteen years ago. The Sprint car that came with it was much more difficult.

This is a mean looking machine - sort of thing I'd expect James Bond to drive in a movie car chase??? You've done a great job on it - very nice.
