58 Chev Sedan Delivery

I got this one at a swap meet a couple of weeks ago (R&R body) and can't seem to put it down. It started as a 2 door wagon with the side windows open, as they are exactly the same body as the sedan delivery I filled the sides in, looks better IMO. I will be going with the Twisted Vista's but not sure if it will be these or the ones in the 69 Camaro kit, these are out of the RM 58 (are they different?)
Colours are up in the air at the moment, thinking maybe pearl white or cream top and pearl orange bottom, not sure yet.

Yeah, he was a bit of a dodgy, got talking to him and he admitted he bought stuff from the States and copied it but isn't doing it anymore, wouldn't suprised if he was one of the so and so's knocking off Shoey's stuff. Had a couple of other resins bodies, Buicks and such but at 35 bucks each I thought one was enough.

Got this baby painted last night, was going to keep you all in suspeders till I could do the BMF and mock it up but I couldn't wait, coloura are; botton, Mazda Crystal white pearl, top is Holden Fusion with a touch of candy red thrown in.There is about 3 coats of clear on top with more to come after foil. Pics don't do these colours justice, will take more once foil is on.

I have to agree with monaro's comment's on this,but this will be one sweet build when it's done.

Got the BMF done today, may not sit this low but gives you the idea. These pics show the colour better too.

What brand and model is this kit? It is resin?

It's a resin body by R&R. It was a 2 door wagon with the side windows open but I filled them in. Did a bit of a mock up last night and I should be able to get it that low with a bit of tweaking.

Tubbs, that's a true vision of beauty my friend.....the colours are fantastic and suit it to a T...not to mention the gloss......

Would you believe that gloss is from a Powerplus(holts) clear coat rattle can, 3 coats. Needs to be wet sanded, couple more coats, sanded again then polished. Hopefully I don't stuff it up.

That powerplus paint is not that bad they also have some nice colours. Keep up the great work.
