Autochamps is on again in '09 with a "NEW LOCATION" just 500m from the previous venue and we now have Main Rd frontage with lots of parking! So if you have a Kool 1:1 car bring it along and get VIP parking and a Chance to win a Trophy!!!

In addition to the above attractions (like you need anything else to make you attend) there will be the all new "Name That Part" board.

I spent a happy hour or so on Satyrday selecting parts from my parts boxes and then wiring them to a piece of plywood.
There are 10 parts. Identify the kit maker, what the part is and what car they come from (year, make & model).
5 points per part plus a few bonus points for going the extra yards in some cases.
Some are easy (at least 1 part has the model of car moulded into it) but some are a bit more fiendish.
Forms will be proved for entry and a prize will be provided (Paul's in charge of that so don't ask me what it is - maybe it'll be that you get your next build painted by me?).

Wow........I've still go so many things to get done it's not funny, doesn't help that my computer crashed loosing all of the paperwork templates damPC

..........all will be good by Sunday morn though I'm sure jeebus

BTW, The Monash is closed between Kingsway and Warrigal Road from 2100 Saturday 19th to 0900 Sunday 20th Sept.
Obviously this really means it won't re-open until about midday Sunday as they always over-run.
So, anyone coming to Ashburton from the West may have to negociate the detour via the Princes Highway.
Coming from the East will be OK as the Westbound Warrigul Road off ramp will still be open and that's the one you want.
Hopefully it all reopens on time and only early birds will be affected.
