07/08 Ford F250 and Trail bikes
Sorry that I have not been around for a while but the rain / humidity as well as the Family have gotten in the way. My build area is not air conditioned so it very hard to be out side let alone paint and the shed got flooded out the other night when we got 253mm of rain in 6 hours new record for this time of year but that is enough dribble about my life.
This build has been in the works for about 3 years not a easy conversion I still have another on the go in a standard cab version what made it worse is that my son got a 1/24 die cast version for Christmas which made me finish it off the bikes and trailer are from the Monogram Off Road Adventure set wit a Datsun pickup kit
The load in the back is a Johnson outboard motor out of a Chevy S10 and F1 boat, the Trawll boards are a center board and out side board an older style boards used by Beam Trawlers to spread the nets when Prawning or scalloping up here and are scratch built so is the drum winch these are left over from a build of the( Fishing Vessel) F.V Roden Lee trawler in 1/24 that I just finished for the owner I worked on her many years ago n the gulf and Straits but that is enough about boats in a car forum. The life ring and pallets are scratch built as well
Hope you enjoy.

Very nice builds and setup, but those tyres are way too shiny for that terrain - LOL

Very nice , I'm a Clarence River boy and spent heaps of times on prawn trawlers in the river with the same trawl boards , I love how you've put some honest detail into the model , well done .

Friend of mine in the US has a pick-up looks zackly same as that one, colour wheels and all. He's even got a pile of junk in the bed.
Nice build, job well done.

Re: 07/08 Ford F250 and Trail bikes
I'd love to see that in progress , a future planned project is to do a similar though smaller (River only) trawler that was owned by a late friend of my father's . I'll PM you my email address and would appreciate it if you could send some progress photo's (or a link to another site if it's going to be there) .
