Modified chopper
hey all. Wasnt too sure where to post this, either in modified diecast or here. Its the american chopper jet bike in big scale. So far ive just reshaped the rear guard. Thats an 1/18 diecast car in the pics.

that looks cool massive too did you have to do a full assemble or does it come assembled and your custimizing it? either way its looking good so far mate

It was assembled. Was a pain in the @s5 to pull apart thou. It was just sittin under me house gatherin dust and looked sad so, i had to chop it up and stuff around with it. Its a disease to that goes by the name of "THE MOD BUG", thats what im blamin it on. And if you dont believe that then i'll blow rasberries at you like a little school girl.

Its a diecast the frame but i am still modifing it thou. im choppin out the front post, stretchin the frame, givin it another 5 degrees of rake, makin some new forks and bars then replacing the front post with a nice curved one. Thinkin of using brass to mod it with. havent tried using brass before, so think ill give it a go at least

so again with dum a#s questions but how do you rejoin the metal do u solder, weld or brase it ? otherwise cool work so far will keep looking for updates

not sure how im goin to rejoin the frame yet. Suppose ill have to experiment with different methods

suppose ya could allways use that steel 2pac epoxy glue stuff had to use it today at work and wen it sets its like steel and looks like steel to but a bit messy other wise have fun mate
