Commondoor HSV Monaro
I am building this for a customer who owns the nearby deli and whose son use to own one of these vehicles until some scum of the earth decided it would be better if he smashed it up for the owner. The original car is an all black car which is going to make it hard to get the paint work just right and after doing seceral other models I think I've final got it right, the thing to do is when the body is painted handle it with cotton gloves so U don't get finger prints all over it. The body as yet has not its final colour.
To be converted back to a 2005 Monaro
The models painted engine.
The under chassis with correct colour exhaust for this model build.
The interior all black how boring (note GTO script on squab of seat).
Correct wheels for this model replica
Monaro in prime and waiting for front & rear bumper clips plus rhd dash.

Nice work so far - she'll look good in black. Give the paint lots of time to harden before handling the body. Keep us posted.

Re: Commondoor HSV Monaro
Knackers I know about Scaleautomoblia, I spoken to Andy there and I have all the parts on hold for me until I'm on my feet again. You see a few weeks ago I was out riding my bike when I fell and broke my Left arm, left hip and recieved cuts and bruizers I won't be back on my feet for a month or two but when I am I will order the parts in and finish the car off.

Re: Commondoor HSV Monaro
Pedal power guys I can't ride the motor type not licensed to. As for name change, I'm using my real name these days as it's much easier for me to remember but if I go to a forum where Dingo is already being used I use rocketscout as I'm into rockets and I'm a retired scout leader so I just combine rocket & scout easy to remember yea. Even though my forum name is Rocketscout, I would like to sign of as Dingo my real name.

Re: Commondoor HSV Monaro
Boothy, I'm no exact a yong bloke I'm nearly 60 my friend and when I came off the bike I was sorta racing me missus coz she said I was past it so I set out to prove I wasn't, well it was the wrong thing to do as I bounce off the gutter and hit the road surface with a cathud man it hurt. I'm on a daily dose of 50mg of morthine to kill the pain until it's healed which they say is in about 6 months for the hip and 9 weeks for the arm, I was supprise I didn't do in a leg but nope it was just the way fell I guess.
