KW Torsion bar suspension.

There's a resin company in the states doin the torsion bar setup , it's p&p resin works and they sell for $12.00 us a set . I looked on there web page but there's no ad for them yet , i found the post on the model cars magazine web site .

that's good to know if one building a kenworth.

cool looks like a good converstion kit i use to drive a old k125 with tbs and have had a bad back since LOL!!!

Once you got used to the rock and roll it was easy to throw it into the corners of the old hume .

this is true as the one i drive was a rigid tipper and did rock around alot but the 8v92 made it a rocket

fitting this type of suspension would border on being illegal these days.

torsion bar suspension is illiegal in certain applications down here in tas nowdays,
i have heard all good reviews on the resin products from p&p,then a friend of mine picked up one of the inter conversions which i got a firsthand look at and it is a very nice casting

Why's that?

the torsion bars have a habit of breaking,they arent a nice thing when they do especally when loaded,
hence not allowed for logging or any other heavy application,there are still plenty about on tipper and highway work ect

There's a listing for it on ebay at the moment. Or you could just buy a W model kit with the suspension already in it.
