XC Falcon Hardtops
Here is my lastest purchase. The twin pack car 1 & 2 XC Hardtops. 1,2 finish at Bathurst 1977 for Alan Moffat and Colin Bond. Beautiful detail in these cars. They are 1/18 scale Classic Carlectables. Also came with the mounting board. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
This picture is the 2 1/18th cars against the 2 Trax 1/43 cars. The poster in the background is an old Street Machine poster I dug out of storage and laminated.

Re: XC Falcon Hardtops
Awesome bits of gear the ol hardtops. Holden definitely had some homework to do after that arse kickin.
In return Ford copped a floggin for the next 3 years at the mountain.
They look great Dave but you might have to put some dark tint over Bonds head lights.

Yes you're right Shoey - Bond's Falcon did have darker headlights, as this famous pic shows.
Nice pickup Dave - one of the best diecast sets ever made. If you like, check out my 1:16 scale card version of Moffat's No. 1 Falcon here

Re: XC Falcon Hardtops
nice set Dave, love the X ABC Hadtops, got 1 or 3 in the cabinet, even had a couple of 1:1 versions in years gone by, sadly the boss says no more diecast (for now anyways) apparently I have to build the plastic, so much for instant gratification
