"Black Beauty" - Ducati GP4
Here is the latest to roll off my bench, literally an hour ago.
This is my interpretation of the Tamiya D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4.
I have to admit, I love how this one has turned out.
Built straight from the box, the only additions being:
photoetch nuts and bolts
replace some tubing with clear
scale motorsport carbon fibre
Paint is Tamiya Matt Black straight from the can, no polishing required.
This is the first model I have built with basically all parts, except for the fairings, airbrushed.
Comments and criticism welcome (except from head coit, Chris)
Thanks for looking
Sorry for lots of photos, but there was no WIP.

Head Coit says "That's just rubbish!!" Nah, not really..... that is the shizzle, you really did a number on that one, Dingus! Did you count the rivets?? Love the fluid in the reservoir.... Noice!
Re: "Black Beauty" - Ducati GP4
Holey Moley that's nice.
Sure it's not a 1:1?

Re: "Black Beauty" - Ducati GP4
I don't know much about bikes, but that looks like some nice work.
Are the back wheels on the 1:1 really held on with a big Phillips head screw?

Re: "Black Beauty" - Ducati GP4
That looks brilliant mate , it really does take a second look to make sure it isn't full size . I think it would look best with the fairing on the ground (or on a clear stand standing up beside it) instead of on the bike , there's too much fantastic detail hidden by it .

Looks great Kane, not a fan of the big "flowers"? though, but a really well detailed build mate.

Not much of a bike person myself, but I do like everything you've done on this. The attention to detail is brilliant. I wouldn't have noticed some of the small stuff until it was mentioned (like the reservoir fluids etc). Really excellent work there.

I just can't get over that you've got the rivet heads on the chain a different shade to the links.

Very nice work Kane, everthing looks so clean and tidy.
I like how you can see a bit of the red frame through the fairing.

Just saw the bike in the flesh, even better than the pics! You still never told me how you built your vacuum sealed clean room..... If you see this bike on a competition table, don't bother entering the same category!

Beautiful build Kane. So clean and shart! I also had to take a second look to check if it was a 1:1 build.
