Re: Toyota FJ 45 ute
Thanks Guy's I only got a little bit done today it was manly the pluming of the brakes and air lines for the diff locks as well as the bead locks for the rims. The doctors change my pain killers today and it's knocked me about so got bugger all done but the pain is easier to cope with but not happy about being back on morph patches have to get more scans on my shoulder and arm on Thursday. Am hoping to get more done tomorrow will post pictures tomorrow night.

Re: Toyota FJ 45 ute
Thanks everyone I got the plumbing finished will post the pictures after I get back from the scans this morning. I've had this problem for years but the surgeons can only just give me the odds that are better 30% chance of relieving the pin's and needles in my right hand as well as hopefully some more feeling in it.

Re: Toyota FJ 45 ute
Here is the door and floor/ seats almost finished. the doors need a bit of weathering to bring them to life and the seat only have the 4 point harness to go on them will post the dash and the cab roof lining when done soon Thanks to DV8V8 (and Bruce aka Bryce for upping me about not scratch building them) for the door handles and the speakers that were also on the door panels I thought that they looked better than the ones that I was going to use, more like the cheap ones in a 4X4 that if you sank them in a river you would not cry about for a week but go WOW they worked again when they dried out a bit. I hope you like them

Re: Toyota FJ 45 ute
You've got a hell of a talent there,Kynan. Stellar work. I'd never believe it was scratch built if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Best to you,Bill

Re: Toyota FJ 45 ute
Thanks guys for the feed back and the praise so far on this build even if I don't think that I deserve it, As it's been a labour of Love for me, It's just one of them builds that I can't put down.
Shoey at this stage I'm just focusing on getting to Mackey next year first but I hope to get to the Qld NNL next year as well but will have to wait and see
I have done a bit more I have the driver in there now the pictures are in the Dio area under "off road dio" I have started on the engine bay and and the last of the little bits and piece's on the out side, The coil (Detail Master) and the msd ignition box are in but still to be connected, the radiator hoses are in, And the dual Optima yellow top batteries are mounted and wired using "detail master" battery hardware photo etch set, And the brake master cylinder and booster is in and plumbed in to the brake lines. I still have the welder and some other bits to do but should be done soon
Hope you enjoy the pictures if you think that I have mist anything please let me know
