67 Dodge Coronet
Been a bit slack lately, haven't touched a thing for about 6 weeks so pulled this one out to try and get going again. This build is loosely based on this drawing I borrowed from the net.
I started with the Drag-on-Lady kit I got off evilbay a while back. I started by mixing up some colours that I thought looked the goods and were a bit different to what I had done in the past. The bottom colour is a mix of metalic silver, black pearl, candy yellow and candy blue (acrylic lacquer). The top is the same colour but I just added a heap more silver to it to lighten it. Colours were airbrushed on and then clear coated, will leave for a week or two and then polish. Not sure if I will use a bonnet scoop on it yet, I have one the same as the drawing and the kit one, will wait and see, may post pic later in the build.
All badges and marker lights have been removed as well as the door locks.
I have decided to use 19" and 23" Holli's from Pegasus. Interior will be a light tan. I will use the hemi from the kit but not sure how it will look yet.

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
She's sick mate eh.
Sorry. Don't know what came over me then.
I've got one of these I want to do as the race car but my decals are yellowed. I don't suppose you can spare your set?...

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
This looks really sharp, like the color to, I would leave the bonnet the way it is, fits the build better....

Re: 67 Dodge Coronet
Come on, what do you want, it's got custom paint, big wheels, dropped on guts, shaved and that's just to start. You're a hard man to please big bro
Thinking of doing custom interior, got to have a look how hard it will be first but starting to like them, seats are the biggest problem.
