40 Ford coupe

Tezza43,Just found this one in my kits got it back in 1993,its a old AMT 40 ford coupe,its been in under coat grey all that time,have put a base colour of Titanium gold on it will put clear red on it to give it a candy colour on her,few molded in lines to sand back,still thinking on wheels.Y/N.

may go with the clear orange,or 2 tone red body orange mud guards.

I am liking those wheels Al. They suit it well

Nice thoughts there Allan. As I recall the bonnet needs a good bit of reshaping to fit the back of it correctly. I like the sound of the orange clear - will be looking forward to seeing the results.

ya tezza43,will have to work on the bonnet,its looks almost the wrong one for it,the orange will look cool on it.

tryed to put a bit of paint on this one,but wind picked up very strong and blew it into the air ya paint damaged here's what colour will look like once finished.

Paint looks awesome it shines brilliantly in the light , I painted mine in the shed with heat lamps

Ya michael it will look great once painted I would be happy with a small shed but I don't have a back yard were me renting may just have to pack up and wait for warmer striped back a model inside today wife said that its stink's

That paint really pops in the sunlight. Hope you can fix it and get it finished soon. With so many 40 Fords being built at the moment, maybe I should rebuild mine as well. No, better finish off the other kits that i have in the process so far. It will have to wait.

ya Chevyfan, me sould of not started this one as got a lot on the go too. ya will fix it,have sanded it back waiting for fine weather with no wind

another one on the pant box,Oh is a 40 frod pick up

draged my portable airbrush table outside to finish the pickup.it has a home made turn table,

airbrush table,its been painted light blue now.its about 22"X34" been to lazy to use it ,going to put lights and lid on it one day
