After seeing Zenrats Gas #11 build it prompted me to get something out that was on the back burner for 10 years or so.I bought the showboat kit incomplete at a car swapmeet so was limited in what I could do with it. Having just picked up the AMT double dragster kit I'll make a twin chevy to go with this one.
The wheels and Chrysler hemi is from the Hearse kit that I can't remember name or manufacturer. Haven't decided on colours for this one yet.Odd Couple Twin Dragster. P1050561

I'd love to get my hands on a complete showboat kit plus the resin conversion to make it into the (name escapes me) wagon version.

Is that moulded in red oxide or has someone gone crazy with the primer?

That is the colour of the plastic , a deep red close to the actual car.
The wagon version was called "wagon Master" , both cars are in the one museum in the states.
Their was only one car so a copy was made of the "showboat'.
The kit I got was missing the Mickey Thompson " Challenger" car as well as some of the Showboat bits.

Should make up into a really good model Greysix.

Zen is this the one you're thinking of?

It would make quite a model I reckon. Wonder if the conversion kit is still available?

That's the one Tezza.
I was looking at a resin transkit recently which was for sale on a US website which implied it was still being made. Can't remember which one though.

This is the website for the Wagon Master resin conversion kit.

http://www.speedcityresin.com/

Scroll down the home page and you'll see it (US$36). They have many other resin conversion sets for sale.
