Hi guys, I have been working on AMT's 56 Ford Vicky for the last couple of weeks and got to the final assembly of the body only to discover the windscreen doesn't even look like fitting, it appears to be totally the wrong shape and no matter how I try it won't go into place. Has anyone else had this problem, if so how did you overcome it.

I think this may be a possibility, as it will go no where near fitting

I do remember having trouble with this too Frank. I think the problem has a lot to do with where the bottom meets the edge of the dash. I recall doing a lot of very careful grinding/filing/cutting around the edges and the dash to get it all in there neatly. HTH
