KENWORTH W900

got this one today out of lay-by its a revell snap tite and glue 1/25 Kenworth W900,will be painting it black with the ligthing decals on it.

got a base colour of black on it will be putting top coat of clear with violet pearl powder in it,

been thinking on the colour for this one will be putting a few more coats of black on it followed clear coats of red it will give me a black candy red colour.

new colour for Kenworth its tamiya lemon yellow X-8.

I have changed the colour as the primer started to bleed into the yellow so I will not be using tamiya acrylic any more as I have had a lot of trouble with it ,got some grey auto primer followed by power plus SNB VIVID YELLOW its close to the tamiya,

Great start Al. Has anyone got a spare set of decals for this kit? Just the Lightning Express name and lightning bolts?

Sorry,checkmate I am not use them on the Kenworth but will be using them on a F100 van, I am putting black pinstrips on the Kenworth,the only thing that I wont be using is the white decals if they are a help.

You seem to change colours as often as you change underwear (I hope).
Yellow looks good, will look good with black pinstripes.

I reckon you should try it in metallic red - that would cool!

changed the colour to yellow as the tamiya black had blue,silver fleck's in it,found it in dark green and red paint also.
