Kenny K100 Aerodyne
Hi everyone, built this 2 yrs ago. It's based on a real truck that won Truckin' Life magazines ''Rig of the year'' back in, I think, 1984/85. It was owned by a guy by the name of Simon Kerswell, running the Adelaide-Perth express run; unfortunately about 12 months after it won, it was stolen never to be seen again. Anyway, this model is my take on it. Enjoy.

Re: Kenny K100 Aerodyne
This is one of my favourite models you've built Gary, I loved the real thing as a kid and have heard a heap of stories about the real truck. It certainly was an "express" truck as I dont think there was much on the road that'd catch it!

Re: Kenny K100 Aerodyne
Kerswell's Kenny was my favourite truck all while I was growing up.
You did well capturing the colours, good job.
BTW, did you ever live in Wagga or have you always been in Campbelltown? Maybe my memory is just leaving me.

Re: Kenny K100 Aerodyne
Gary,
Now this is a blast from the past, great job on this old classic,
Now that you have the "before", you could do a diorama of the "after", Simon Kerswell standing in a vacant paddock, with a bunch of keys in his hand..... just a thought...
