Ten stud wheels
I want to replicate something like this but can't think of anything to poke through the holes that would look like a nice shiny wheel nut - wondering if any one has any tips?

Re: Ten stud wheels
Thanks guys - you have all given me some ideas!
I'm thinking that instead of pins maybe I can find some larger needles that could work. I will need a lot though!

Re: Ten stud wheels
Have a look at the pins on electronic plugs. Maybe the pre USB keyboard plugs?
They should have rounded tips and be silver in colour.

Re: Ten stud wheels
Hi Bryce
You could round off the ends of hex styrene and Alclad them
http://www.modell4you.at/styrene-hex-rod-05-mm-plastruct-english-p-1427.html?language=en
or visit your local welding supply and buy some filler rod ( cheap way to get aluminium rod) and polish, file and cut to suit
Some places sell it by the rod as well as in packages Diameter is 1.6mm
You can get stainless too but it may be too hard to work with
