I'm thinking the ones like on the 55 would suit the best.

Hiya Tubs
i have a set of those with gunmetal coloured centres if they will do what you want
they are slightly different in the fact that they are a deeper dish

Re: A Couple of 1/16 Scale
That could actually work, let me know what you want for them. Where do you get yours from?
Would like to get a few more kits one day, old story, had them when they first came out and then trashed em, had a 57 convertable, a 55 coupe, a 55 nomad, a dodge(still got the motor), a 63 Vette and a Mustang. Only got a 57 convertable at the moment tho. Got a spare body (painted before I got it) but the window frame is broken, if you're interested.
Cheers
Kirk

Re: A Couple of 1/16 Scale
Some nice work there mate. I also love building in 1:16. I have 3 Trans Ams that I have built in 1:16, and another 6 to build lol. I would also love some tips on where to get better wheels for some of them.

Re: A Couple of 1/16 Scale
gmp diecast are probably the best for wheels but you can scrounge around the model swap meets and shops and by 1/18 wreck this gives you good sets of wheels and a lot of interior gear
im always surfing evibay but im tight fisted when it comes to spending a lot on my models as my thinking is the paint work costs a bloody lot
