Re: MONTE CARLO NASCAR
NASCARS are colourful - the Kellogg car looked real neat for its day. I'll be watching your NASCAR builds with interest.

Re: MONTE CARLO NASCAR
Tezza43 thought I build a few nascar's up for a change of pace, as I have not built any since 1974 when I built only stock cars and funny car.

Re: MONTE CARLO NASCAR
just got some grey primer on this one will put some gloss clear on it so it will give me the light grey colour for the inside parts, also found out that the red coca cola car never raced but was used to pronope the coca cola 600 races, there was a black coca cola that raced still it will make a nice model.

Re: MONTE CARLO NASCAR
I would not put it away, id just give it a bath of caustic soda and hit it again with some colour. I have had mixed results with warming the paint myself and now tend to sit the can upside down for a couple of hours before hitting the model with it and have had good results.
Re: MONTE CARLO NASCAR
Shayne have looked at the body now its dryed a bit more it looks like red orange skin all over it will wet sand it back as far as I can then repaint it but will use my airbrush as I have better control ,I also noticed that the paint is a lot thicker, one qustion for you or anyone with decals which is the best way clear body add then or put them on then clear over them.
