XT GT drag car
Here's some shots of my XT GT drag car. Lowered at the rear to give it that launching look with weld racing wheels. 351 from a race car with holley carby and stack. Tank in the boot with nitrous bottle and fuel filters and fuel pump. B&M shifter is the only mod to the interior. Hope you all like this one. Bonnet painted black with the scoop to give it the fibreglass look. Cheers

Re: XT GT drag car
Very nice clean modification. The engine dropped in without much fuss from the looks of it. I like the stance and wheels - a top job mate.

Re: XT GT drag car
Greatest car ever that was beaten at Bathurst by a 202 powered LJ Torana, lucky the supercar scare killed of the 308 powered LJ or things mightve got real embarassing for you blue oval boys. Best Aussie car ever built............A9X Torana or a Holden van!southy wrote:We are the makers of the fastest 4 door car ever produced, XYGTHO PHASE 3 Ford Falcon, and thats the best car ever made even by you Americans.corrupted wrote:I'm gunna have to get used to these 4 door race cars.

I think you are getting mixed up with race cars. The XYGTPHASE3 was the quickest production car ,not race car.checkmate wrote:Greatest car ever that was beaten at Bathurst by a 202 powered LJ Torana, lucky the supercar scare killed of the 308 powered LJ or things mightve got real embarassing for you blue oval boys. Re: XT GT drag car
Southy when they raced XY's and XU1's mate a lot of them where driven to the track and registered, they were street cars virtually unlike todays boring as batsh1t V8 Supercars.

I know what you mean with the supercars, pick the winner out of about 3 cars and the rest just make up the pack. Bring on the Muscle Car Masters, a lot better to watch and at least you can tell what car is what unlike todays cars.checkmate wrote:Southy when they raced XY's and XU1's mate a lot of them where driven to the track and registered, they were street cars virtually unlike todays boring as batsh1t V8 Supercars.

Re: XT GT drag car
Race on Sunday, sell on Monday! Love the old days of Group C. Now we've got identical chassis', wheels, gearboxes and diffs. Gone are the good old days. I love looking at old pics of the Chargers,XU1's etc racing and some had number plates on them! Love the 79 Bathurst with Brocky in the A9X and the race cam of Bob Morris going around the smaller catagory cars on Conrod Flatout!
