VK Commodore Interceptor

Nice work Shoey, I've long since admired your abilities. Your yellow VK looks exactely like the one I've been inside. A mate of mine had one sitting in his back yard for a while before he wrecked it out. What a waste, there was nothing wrong with it, just a way to make a quick buck I guess, when they were worthless. Oh well.

Looking top notch so far Shoey. Can't wait to see it done.

I used a computer cut vynil template to spray the police signs on.
I lightly rubbed any sharp edges off before giving it a coat of clear.
Next I am working on a flashing light bar.

Haha, thats so they know what side to get in!.......Nah,
* 1st pic is the templates,
* 2nd is spray the blue and peel the templates off, you can see how thick the vynil is next to the painted area.
* 3rd is finished job.

I found some wheels (thanks to John)
the set on the right are pretty close to the real thing.
the rims and tyres on the left were gunna be used,
but they look like VL pursuits and are made from resin.

Excellent looking work, i really do like this one. I have to admit i also hate it as i once or twice had a car looking like this in my rear vision mirror with the lights on....

I've been slack gettin photos posted of this build.
since this pic was taken the sirens have been finished.
I will get some more up soon.
The light bar is made from metal rod which conducts + and - for the leds.
when fitted to the car they wouldnt work.
Dahh!!!! the bare metal foil shorted it all out!

They're hand made and cast and EXTREMELY hard to come by to say the least.
