My blown deuce coupe
Revell kit - mild chop, resin stock firewall, rear fenders bobbed, front splash pan removed. Engine is a small block Chevy from an AMT ’34 coupe with parts box exhaust manifolds and blower. Wheels are AMT ’40 Ford steelies up front on Revell whitewalls. Out back are home made dished steelies and painted whitewalls. I added trim rings, a bullet and foiled the lug nuts to dress them up a bit. I also added some go-fast stickers to break up the colour and add some credibility…

Re: My blown deuce coupe
nice build, has the "just right" look
you did say "foiled the lug nuts" how the hell do you get the foil to stick to the tiny little effers, man I would be cross eyed and bouncin the wheels out the door in 10 minutes flat.

Funny you say that Kirk. I am picking up some new glass shelves this week coz I have quite literally run out of room...

Not too sure about that Tezza - there are a lot of flaws the camera hides but thanks anyway.

Well I just cut small pieces of BMF, stick it on the nut and try to stab around the right shape removing the extra bits with a toothpick. Then I usually dab a bit of white glue on to keep it there. It doesn't have to be too perfect as once you burnish it down the reflection will only really show the dome shape anyway.
Thanks for all the nice words guys!

Think that this is my favourite of all your builds. Everything's perfect, would love to see this in person.
Great job Bryce.

Re: My blown deuce coupe
I guess that explains Bryuce's behaviour on our roadtrip to Ballarat a couple of weeks ago.HAMMOSZED wrote:"foiled the lug nuts" how the hell do you get the foil to stick to the tiny little effers, man I would be cross eyed and bouncin the wheels out the door in 10 minutes flat.
Yet another top build man, do you know there's a feller a few miles up Canterburty Rd from you has one in1/1 scale almost identical?
