Hey Guys,

Another newbie questions. k I am still trying to work out how to mix paints for this airbrush, but when it comes to painting the smaller parts with a brush do I still have to mix the paint with thinners?

I have never ever had to paint anything before except a house wall so any advice is fantastic

No, I don't do it. Very rarely have I come across any paint that would need thinning for application with a brush.

If your using Tamiya Acrylics I would receommend using their Paint Retarder.

It gives you more working time with the paint before it starts to tack off.

I find that while brand new brush paint can be used straight out of the jar as it gets older it thickens as the volatile solvents evapourate. A point will come where you will need to add thinners to get it back to where it started.
