32 Ford Roadster Empty 32 Ford Roadster

Post by Bryce Sat 21 Jun 2008, 9:34 am

This is based on a local hot rod that I liked the look of. It's the Revell kit with fenders added from their three window coupe and flathead engine from the AMT 49 Merc. I know that the headers aren't right for a flathead (four ports and should be three) but I couldn't be arsed mucking around with it. Paint is enamel rattle can from Bunnings (best colour match I could find) and whitewalls are painted with BMF trim rings and hubcaps from the 48 woody kit. The piping on the interior is done with yellow decal that I trimmed down to size and the 8 ball shifter is scratch built... Wink

Me likes it too!!. tell me what kind of paint brush did you use to do the gear knob, and how did you hold it so still and how the hell could you see it to start with? Very nice..

Shoey the trick is to break it down into dots. One big white dot, two little black dots and two smaller white dots!

Thanks for all the kind words guys - glad you like it.
