1977 Chevy Van
Another one bites the shelf.
This is for the Scale Auto Forum Cannonball Run Build Off.
I thought i'd try my hand at weathering again.
It's the van from the Revell "Race Team Van & Trailer" kit (thanks DSF) sat on Revell '68 'vette suspension and powered by the blown big block from the same kit.
Interior is modified and scratchbuilt and includes four 44's to provide long range between fuel stops.
Wheels & tyres are from The Parts Box and paint is enamel from Bunnings.

Re: 1977 Chevy Van
Sorry dude. So what did I trade with you? Oh yes, the Ecto Caddy.
So who did I get this off? Whoever it was. Thanks and sorry for forgetting.
Allan, the drums are clamped to the stands by the bottom flanges. Don't think they'd stay put in a heavy crash but seeing as I only provided lap belts that's probably immaterial

Re: 1977 Chevy Van
Turned out very nicely, lots of detail in the interior.
That would be a hell of a backdraft in the exhaust wouldn't it?

Re: 1977 Chevy Van
Great stuff. Nice finish. No cop would notice that van with the super wide tyres and all!

Re: 1977 Chevy Van
Nice build mate, alot of very inovative ideas in that thing, and the weathering ( or is that "lack of cleaning") came out great, supurb build !
