Mate you'll love it!! It's a really nice kit to build, everything fits, hardnext to no mould lines or flash. It's just a really fun kit to build. It's only faults IF you are really picky is it has a borg warner type diff, and not a 9 inch(the real car was a gen. GT, so would of had a 9 inch) and the rear rims could be a little deeper.

You sound like a true artist. Not quite satisfied. Nice build up...can't wait till you do the next 4 or 5.

Re: Mad Max Interceptor!!
YES YES !!! Someone finally built one of these and left the wipers OFF ! Every body who builds this version always leaves the wipers on .
Now , just fix the jerry cans of the seam around the middle and the dag above the filler cap , and headers to shiney . Put some wood glue in the gauges on the ends of the tanks and to me its spot on , i love it . For about two weeks over chrissy i'm of to see adrian at the hill and will tell him of the model .

Keen eye, you picked evrything I'm not happy with, Exactly, NO WIPERS!!!-the second interceptor in MM2, the one that was used for the incar filming DID have wipers, but no door mirror. -That was the one that was rolled at the end of the film. Another small thing to note aswell, the main car also had the bonnet pins removed, but the recess holes left in the bonnet. This was my first ever weathering effort (got me hooked!)

Amazing build mate. You've really got this weathering thing down pat. I think the real question is - how do you better this one?

Yeah, a mate of mine has done 2 off them, 1 clean, 1 dirty, but I want to do mine like in the first movie, with a back window etc. set in the underground carpark . I've got to finnish my 9 other before I do that one though, maybe next year.

Re: Mad Max Interceptor!!
Dion, if you like I have a resin "conversion kit" I could probably part with, gives you the front lower spoiler, bootlid, boot spoiler, filler panel between the boot and back window and the rear seat and "correct" XB front seats. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Mad Max Interceptor!!
Looks real nice and dirty just like the real car . I modified a 1/18th diecast several years back before anything was avaliable in that scale, The guy I built it for wanted a model of the car as it looked in the first movie.
