'37 Ford Cabriolet
Hey there everyone,
Yes even though I finished a model yesterday, I am straight back into another
This time I am doing my first hotrod, and it just so happens to be the Boyd Cottington Smoothster.
Plans for it are a backwards flipping trunk, and a two tone goldish orange colour, and thats about it at the moment. I will decide along the way.
So far I have cut out the boot, made a floor (sort of) and hinged it so it flips backwards.
More to come as it progresses

Re: '37 Ford Cabriolet
for the gold/orange colour put a base colour of tamiya gold leaf down first then top coat it with clear orange it would give you a colour close to what you are looking at.

Ooooh, you're a bit weird Adam. Most of us start another BEFORE we finish the one we are working on...

Re: '37 Ford Cabriolet
Hey guys, Have done a little more to this, Putting the body aside for the moment, I decided to do my engine and Interior.
The engine in Boyd Cottingtons Smoothster is a Corvette LT-1, but made to look like nothing in there at all.
And for the interior, I decided to stick with the theme on the outside by two-toning (in a way) the seats and the door panels as well as BMF the top of the doors.
More to come as I progress
