Just got home from the expo and had some dinner... Im so buggered but I just had to do some modeling.
I got the resin chopped body from Detail Downunder today and I just got the new Revell 50 F-1 Pickup kit the other day. I had to mock this one up ASAP.
Not sure on what wheels.. im leaning towards bigs n littles, maybe a centerline rim.

That is so cool Andy - the ideas you guys come up with amaze me. This you've got to finish soon (and I like the black beast too).

And thanks for all your assistance at Expo - I hope you enjoyed the judging experience?

No probs Terry.. was a new and fun experience for me, I will definately be judging again next year. We'll team up again.

Alan, I'm going for a black metalic.. was going to two tone it with the black up the top.. still working on a colour for the bottom half of the panels.

Matt.. Im pretty sure its the F1 cab. heres some pics comparing the plastic and the resin cabs.. the only difference is that the resin body doesnt have the filler cap spot marked...

Allan this is the latest issue and has lotsa neat stuff none of the earlier issues had including - Modern billet wheels, CORRECT Ardun heads and Manifold (Tri carbs) with exhaust headers(all stock flat head parts are still there), and some really neat decals! If ya want one check out Kool kits!

p.s Can't wait to do one of these with the chopped cab, but I'm think'n suede paint whitewalls and real loooooooooooooow! Cool

I've got one of these to start on as well. Sounds like a potential GAS #4 to me... Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes Very Happy
