Charlie's Kennie.
This truck is an old Kenworth driven back in the late 60's for Padget's by another dear old friend who's had a pretty remarkable life. He saw Jack's Mack and very sheepishly inquired how much to make my old truck. And the way I felt after, giving away Jack's truck I could'nt bring myself to charge for this one either. But that said I'm not starting a free for all. The photo on back of the truck show's the size of the tree's he used to cart around. a single rider he called it. Any way enjoy. cheer's John.

great job on the old Kenworth, you could as for small donation to help cover the cost of kit or paint and glue going to do the trailer.

Re: Charlie's Kennie.
Thank's allan & dv8v8. We were going to at first and Charlie did offer but I couldn't bring myself to after it was finished, in the end the look on his face as was with Jack was thank's and payment enough. By the way I had a little help with this one from another dear friend here in Tas' to make sure I had this one period correct. His name is Linley and he has a passion for these old girl's. He also has a good friend named Nigel Low of auslow resin truck stuff which help's big time. Ohh' Yes we did build the tailer as well with an approprriate scaled log too. I don't have any photo's of it yet. I'll try to get one or two and put them up. Thank's again guy's. cheer's john.

I love these old trucks. Any chance of more pics?
I understand your reluctance in some cases to charge for a special build job, especially when it means so much to the other person. Well done to you.

Re: Charlie's Kennie.
nice truck and a nice gift. i gave the replica of the Delegate Motors tow truck to the owner and asked nothing for it. Old truckers seem to like models.
Re: Charlie's Kennie.
Hi, guy's here's the photo's I said I'd try to find. They are scanned copies , so not real crisp shot's. Any who, the two on the base are the finished truck just before we took it up to Charlie's place. The other shot is a pic of the real truck back in it's heyday. so enjoy. cheer's john.
