99 mustang cobra
Finished this one in 2009.Had a 99 mustang cobra and a 98 saleen speedster convertibe stacked up on the shelf and thought what if I could make a 99 saleen. The conversion isn't super accurate and I would build it a bit differently now, but I'm happy with it.I cut off the saleen parts including body kit, supercharger and pulleys, gearbox, mufflers and headers, interior parts (not interior tub) and also added some scratchbuilt detail.I kept the 99's alloy modular motor and independant rear end too (the saleen was iron block and solid rear axle).Colour is tamiya light gun metal grey.Wheels and brakes are from a tamiya dtm race car. The rear camber's been set up so the tyres sould be flat under full throttle/weight transfer-well,thats the theory anyway. This was also the first model I pollished the paint on.Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

Thanks for the comments!
Thanks for all the comments, glad you liked it. I see you remembered my model Shoey!. It's ok, appologies were made, all is forgiven and no plastic will be harmed. From memory I think it was the Deathrace 3000 mustang that did that damage, twas a few years ago.

Re: 99 mustang cobra
that is a hot mustang. well done.
you say you'd build it differently if you done it today, have you thought of taking another stab?
