11 Window Microbus
Hey guys, I thought I'd better get in and start a thread.
The plan is to make an 11 window bus out of 2 kits (I will still be using the other in a future build).
First was to change the roof as I didn't want the rag top on this one...
Shoey showed me that using the back of the knife blade was easier to cut/scribe the plastic rather than bogging? the sharp front of the blade into the plastic. I must say it worked a treat and will do this from now on (Thanks Shoey )

Re: 11 Window Microbus
Starting on the suspension next I want this to be Lowered...so I have choped away at the mounting for the front beam to lower it (notch it up). As a result the shock towers have come through the floor but the seat will cover these.
I have also used the front beam out of the Tamiya 66 Beetle which has more detail.
I have also cut some of the floor away to allow the tyres to move freely.

Re: 11 Window Microbus
Pics look fine. I just love the VW beetles and kombi's. The kombis just ooze class when lowered I recon. Looking forward to this build. I have a Beetle kit but im waiting until I get more building skill so I can do it justice and fully detail it.
