40 ford coupe

Another recent build... Revell's 40 ford coupe. Another awesome kit from revell. Built box stock, decals around the wheels the only major problem. I hope you enjoy, happy modelling.

Nice clean build. Those 40's always look great!

What was the problem with the wheel arch decals? Was it the compound curve shape? Not sticking down? Just interested to know.

It was the fit around the wheel arch and the compound curve and the petrol cap. Even though I cut the decal close to the edge parts of it just would not sit properly , I even used setting solution. Nice kit, it went together really well, I'd recommend it to anyone just be aware of the decals and you'll really enjoy the build. Happy Modelling

The Revell '40s are some of my favourite kits.

Very neat build mate, personally , don,t like the decals, but then again i'm not a fan of most kit decals, do really like the way the rest of the kit looks though, well done.
