37 ford pickup

finished this a while ago, started as an experiment trying a new weathering tecnique and turned out ok.

Oh boy ....love it! Nice weathering job too but where are the dents ? Hehehe Joking ...very nice work.

To get weathering to look right is not easy - it is real easy to overdo it. This is well done, it just looks so real - good work.

Hey Dave, weathering the best I've seen. The "hairspray" is now being kept under lock & key.

Yea well, there are those who reckons I ain't got enough hair left to warrant the excessive amounts of the stuff being used.

All I can say is --------that ----------its just a total lack of understanding, regarding the skill required for those that wish to create something of greatness

I posted this in the workshop last year.
go to the search box, type in hairspray and theres some progress pics and a brief rundown of how it was done.

You could take that home and redo it into a really nice street rod with very little effort.

Brilliant weathering!! Very authentic. That's a whole different skill than bright and shiny stuff.
