Twins
Funny story about these two 56's. Rob (Checkmate) sent me a photo of a garage diorama
he was working on, with a question "one or two bays" using a freshly painted
56 body to see if it would fit. Coincidence!!! at the same time we were building
the same kit with the same colours but in reverse . I chose to keep mine box stock
where Rob went the other way!

Re: Twins
AWSOME!! Love both of them, 2 very sweet builds, they look perfect as " tow car and trailer bitch". Side by side, it shows people what can be done with the same model, only using your head instead of the instructions. Are you two a little closer than you are letting on?? 'S

Oh yeah, love em both!!!! Great job lads!!! Man, hard to pick a favorite, both are super sweet, but are on opposite ends of the scale.

Always a pleasure to view your fab builds Shoey. A great "double act" that looks sweet and neat. Love the trailer display too - a real winner.

Mmmmm, nice.
I've always like the '56 best of the Tri Chevs.
Scratch built trailer?

Re: Twins
Thanks for the comments guys, I can't take credit for the Gasser,
Rob built that one. he sent it up for our show in Feb, I haven't sent it back yet.
It looks great in my cabinet Rob!!. It will also be heading to Mackay
next month to take on Daves mighty 55 Nomad, NSW vs QLD.
Zen, the trailer is built from evergreen plastic. the ramps slide out too. Heres a few more pics.
thats mine with the bad glue marks on the window!!!

Re: Twins
Both Chevs are really well built, but the photography and lighting are just great. I thought the top photo was 1:1 when I first looked at it, and the three quarter rear view of the gasser on the trailer with the tow car in front, dimming light, looks like they're getting ready to head home after a day at the strip. Congrats. Steve

Re: Twins
Thanks for the positive comments guys, Shoey's pics are the highlight of it I think. Excellent camera work.
Just a cool coincidence that we happened to be building the same kits, same time, same colours.........maybe we're out of the same mould?
