Kicking around the $2 shop and came across some glitter glue and I wondered what it would look like on a model. Today I gave it a try. Yea the strips are not straight and I think I need to make the coating thicker (Its a test mule) but in the daylight it REALLY pings.

Whad'ya recon

If you thicken up the coat i think it would look pretty good, well worth experimenting with for sure mate.

Just added 2 more pics. It looks like real big flake metal finish. And its not lumpy either which surprised me. More playing needed but I think it has potential.

Promising. It always pays to check out different places for building supplies.

You could use a silver base, then glitter, then clear yellow.

Can you clear coat over this, or have you tried that already?

Yup clear coat went on no problem. and the best bit ...I just peeled the gt stripes off ...was all prepared for brake fluid and sanding but they came off no probs. Dont get me wrong they were on properly and with a thicker clear coat would not have been so easy to get off

I'm sorry the glitter effect is to heavy for 1/25. The parts box has finer glitter available
