Aston Martin DBS
G'day guys, finished this up last month. Tamiya's Aston DBS... Colour is a mix of Tamiya French Blue & Brilliant Blue. Nothing too fancy, just detailed the wheels & used better low-profile tyres. Spent a good 6-8hrs polishing this sucker out I recently bought the optional 5 spoke rims & plan on doing another DBS in the future...
Enjoy...
Cheers Cliffo

Re: Aston Martin DBS
good looking DBS,taillights look odd with no red in them, would look better with a bit of Tamiya red clear.

Mate this is a really nice build - great colour too. This is one of the great things about this site, you get such a different variety of terrific models.

As usual mate...very very nice build. Sleak, smooth and neat!!
The work on the blackouts in the wheels certainly paid off too.
Can't wait to see what else you put up here....
Cheers Timbo

Re: Aston Martin DBS
Cheers & thanks fellas Yep there's no denying Astons are some of the most beautiful cars ever made... They're over priced but damn if I had the ... There'd be more than 1 in my over-sized garage
Unfortunately my iPhone 3 has given up the ghost on it's camera... Just doesn't work so I can't take pics of the engine bay sorry Tezza.
Timbo I've got so many builds on the bench right now it ain't funny Starting off with 2 Lambos ( Aventador & Gallardo, both painted, 1 polished & 1 waiting for clear coating ) 2 R8s, coupe & 'vert... Merc SLS awaiting clear coats... Also got a 2010 Camaro & 06 'Vette, both are gunna be theme cars for my best mate. They're gunna be done in Parramatta Eels livery, with special ordered custom decals! Not to mention I've been working on his daily driver, Mitsubishi Colt ralliart... Converting it from stock... Lots of work there Didn't even know Fujimi made a kit of the Colt til I was browsing a Japanese model site & found it by chance He's gunna be stoked! Hoping to get all 3 done by his B'day... New Years Day It's a heck of alot to do for the tightarse bugger but he's got something I want... A signed & Framed St.George Dragons 2010 Premiership Jersey...! I figure 3 built models for a $1500 framed jersey is a pretty fair trade
I've been taking WIP pics on my real camera so when I get a chance to use a friend's PC or my sister's I'll download 'em all to my photobucket site so I'll be able to share 'em all here
Cheers Cliffo
