Here is my most recent rebuild.
Here is a 429 boss that i built originally in 83 as a stocker. Rebuilt it about 5 years ago.

The colour is actually a ford metallic purple. Damn camera has always had trouble with purple, and i have not been able to get around it.

Thanks tj. The 70 Boss Mustangs did not have any vents like your 69s. Doing the rear end was a pain, and there is still some ghosting around the filler pieces i used. Oh well, live and learn.

how did you get the front end so low??? mine looks like a 4x4

Tj, i trimmed of the original wheel mounting spindle, moved it to the height i want and remount it to a block of styrene.

not to elegant but it gets the results i want. I use variations on this theme for most models, it is just a matter of looking at how the kit is designed and looking for the easiest solution.

Update, i finally got some pics that almost show the true colour
