GTO TO GO!
Hi all, this was the first of the new GTO kits i've done, went down the sports sedan -tuner style as the stock model is pretty booooooring.
Made the front bar deeper, a set of tuner style rims and top it off with a great big wank-factor rear wing. Switched it over to right hand drive,
added a couple of tiny turbo's, and made a hood scoop.
Colour is originally tiger-mica with some purple pearl hi-lites.
thanks for looking,

Re: GTO TO GO!
Nice build mate. Color is not bad either. I hate tiger mica but yours is working for me. If I had the money I would have one of the new utes with GTO front ...they are just soooo sexy I recon.
Well done mate.
Well done mate.
Re: GTO TO GO!
Nice work DeeCee. Like the colour, purple highlights look trick.
Is this what happens when a "tuner" sells their "rice rocket" for a slice of Aussie muscle..??

Re: GTO TO GO!
Thanks Allan, Dean AND 8, and yes retro, this is what happens when they discover GRUNT, but cant let go of the plastic factor i reckon.
Dean, i had a big jar of tiger mica left over from a job for a mate so i keep trying to find ways of using it up, a dash of pearl and a dollop of something different every time mate, gotta keep using it coz it was FREE!

Re: GTO TO GO!
Nicely done, would be a real 'sleeper' without the rear wing. The subtle lowering, paint colour and hood bulge would mean it'd go largely unnoticed by the greater unwashed, until you blew their doors off. I like that in a car. But that's not to say the rear wing detracts, it's one wild looking piece that is probably needed to keep the thing planted on the strip.
Funny thing is from the post title I expected to see a sixties era car and laughed aloud at what I did see. It reminded me of a trip to US a couple or three years back where we went to a Pontiac show in a local St Louis park and among maybe 200 Ponchos there were about sixty of these things lined up with 'Murricans drooling all over them.
Reminded me how funny it is that we Aussies lust after 'Murrican cars that those guys wouldn't pee on if they were on fire and here they were, drooling on cars that we largely ignore because they are evolved from taxi cabs.
Just proves I guess that what wimmin say may indeed be true, car guys really are weird.
