59'CADILLAC ELDORADO
Hello all,
did this a few years back, all the 59 caddie kits i find are convertible, yet i prefer the shape "with a roof". ?? so i borrowed one.
Every thing else is pretty stock bar some engine detail, the paint is tropical green acrylic with a hint of candy yellow in spots, made a carby scoop aswell.
Do you know where the roof and glass came from?????

Nice build you have there Dale.
I've actually got one of these kits with a roof to build, I prefer it with a roof too.

Be stuffed if I can work out what the roof is off. Works though.. Whole package looks neat.

Re: 59'CADILLAC ELDORADO
Thanks fella's, the roof is actually off Rick Dobertin's J2000 Pontiac pro streeter, usually only use the driveline from this one.
Very little mods needed to make it fit, just minor pillar work.

Re: 59'CADILLAC ELDORADO
I'm pretty sure mine are decals. And as i've already been wrong once this week I must be correct.
I asked because I saw them while browsing my decal folder (yes, sad, I know) at the weekend and wondered how well they work.

Re: 59'CADILLAC ELDORADO
I would call them a sticker myself, you peel the backing off and stick them on, they are very thick compared to BMF, and only really work well on a flat surface and also don't stick to well , would use BMF next time i think.
