IH Butterbox finished.

Finally finished this project .It is based on an actual truck restored by a friend of mine in Victoria.


The FB ute was done a few years ago.
I am heading off to Europe this Friday and both of these models are going with me. Will be entering them in a model show at Gaydon in the UK next month.
Just hope I have them packed well enough in the suit case.
Be interesting to see what reaction they get.

I made the Ansett decals myself.Using the Testors Decal maker and the injet printer. Not as good as I would like but they do the trick. I have an Alps printer which would have been better to use,however i cant get it to work as i seem to,have lost the drivers for it.
No the FB is as it came, would have to measure a roof height on an actual ute to see if its correct.

I should be able to help you out with the drivers for your Alps, providing you operating system is Windows XP

Yahoo Groups also have a Alps section, from memory you can download the drivers from there.

For those interested the IH Butterbox arrived in Europe in my suit case with some damage,but was easily repaired. It recieved a second place award in the Australian/American class.
Pleased that it did bring something home.
Irevided the way i packed it for the return journey, looks to have arrived with less damage,but have not removed from its box completly yes. Only got back home on Thursday and was straight back to work on Friday and today,so will unpack it during the week.
Yes John will bring it with if i make to the model expo this year.
