58 Edsel Pacer
Just reading that it's the 50th anniversary for this car, so seemed like a good enough reason to post some pics of an old build. This is the second oldest build from my modern era. AMT kit built out of box with some added detail. Airbrushed with Humbrol enamel - custom coral mix and black. I chose not to use the kit supplied continental spare kit on the back as it obscured most of the rear end and I quite like the back of these cars (certainly better looking than the front!). Will probably find its way onto a custom or something. Also seem to have lost my aerial over the years - must have been a victim of model show transportation. I hate packing and unpacking models - bring on the online contest I say!

Nice Edsel! Sounds like a good enough excuse for everyone to post up there Edsel's here!!
Here's mine built in 2004 and it ain't box stock, it sports new suspension, wheels, lotsa Photoetch and a full custom interior.

Re: 58 Edsel Pacer
Nice builds guys. And here I was thinking that Edsels had working rear window ventilation! It's a shame this car is now looked on as one of the greatest flops in automobile history. What about the Chevrolet Corvair, Pontiac Fiero, Buick Reatta, DeLorean, etc.
Anyway I'm not taking it away from you Bryce - flop or no flop your Edsel model is marvellous to look at and appreciate. Well done!
