Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Righto Guys, an Update finally.
I've spent a lot of time in the model room just knuckling down and trying to get this one done.
I've painted all the chassis parts and assembled them and I hit he body with it's coat of paint today. Needs a polish but that will happen next weekend leaving the clear time to gas out.
Still needs all the chroming and polishing but in time.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Hey there all, got the Chroming done on this one over the weekend.
Also removed the Top silver line at the rear of the Model as it just didn't look right, so masked up and blew some orange over it and Hey presto, much betterer.
This will be how it sits unless sh*t happens and things won't fit. (like most models in final fitting )
Won't be too long now, Polishing next weekend and probably final fitting the next week at latest.
Thanks.

Yea bud that looks much better. The line from the rear pillar seems to flow down to the body now. I really like the look. Sometimes less is more eh.
Nice work as usual!

Wow, I missed this update Adam. That looks trick. The paint isn't something I would have tried, but it works so well, well done.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Hey there guys, I need your opinion on something.
I have finished the polishing on this one and I have rubbed through a ridge on the bonnet
So my question is to you guys is should the bonnet just be touched up where the mark is, or should I run with a strip of BMF on each side? I'm just stuck on my choices.
So yeah, leave your opinions and I'll have it finished next weekend.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
It's not there because I chromed that side.
I'm thinking the chrome as well.
Hear that dad, no need to rub the bonnet back through the week now.

Yup go the BMF ... It will (IMO) blend the bonnet with the rest of the car . Looking good Adam!
