'68 Street Killer Charger.
I built this about 7 months ago - my first Foray into Model cars, and I know, I didn't detail the engine, the hood doesn't close.
It WAS my first real Model build. :-)
Anyway - Pics:
Info:
It's the Revell '68 Dodge Charger R/T "Special Edition" Model.
Shaved Door handles, locks, boot locks and side badges, and Fuel Filler.
The only badges remaining are the painted Grille "Charger R/T" badges.
I built it with the Drag Tyres, stock suspension, Drag roll-bar with Fire Extinguisher, No back seat, all Matte black because I liked the added "Badass" look it gave it.
It was my First model that I actually made an attempt to be neat and clean, I wasn't fussed about engine detailing or a perfect under carriage - as It was a "proof" model that I made to show I could wield a brush well.
Has the 426 HEMI Race Motor.
I will probably build another one way down the track that is full details and full entrails.. lol.
Until then - I have a half done '66 Mustang Fastback that I will finish if I ever get around to buying wire to wire it up from the Dizzy, and all the fancy doodah lines in the 'Bay.
And a '69 GTX that I totally stuffed up - so I have to strip the paint and start the Shell again - But It's another "proof" model as I got it for cheap, I decided to build the Interior, engine detail, and try my hand at a full custom Sub-Frame to not only lower it, but to make it stand out - When I strip the shell - I'll repaint it all correctly and neat - but for now I'm working on the P.I.T.A suspension and whatnot for it. (May end up starting the frame from scratch again.)
Anyway - Enjoy my Charger, and I'll upload the Build of the other two in a little bit.

Re: '68 Street Killer Charger.
All chargers are enjoyable IronMunkie, looks tuff in matt black, engine detail doesn't matter when your starting out, sometimes too much detail can become a chore and turn you right off the hobby, just enjoy your building mate, it will all happen eventually, looking forward to your other builds too.

Re: '68 Street Killer Charger.
For a number 1 it looks the goods. Those old muscle cars look sweet in matt black I recon. Dont worry about getting toooo fancy with engine detail. Yes it does look good when done but what a PITA doing it. I rarely detail an engine. It saves chipping the paint on the walls when the model hits it !
Dont try to get to fancy to quick. Take your time and have fun learning.
Good job on the Charger!

Re: '68 Street Killer Charger.
Thanks guys - I might grab another Charger soon to do a Full Chassis Pro Tourer, will full detail - but that one will take a while. haha.
Then we'll see if that hits the fan.

Re: '68 Street Killer Charger.
Cool.
There's a satin black '68 that I see regularly on the streets of The Peninsula - it's got "01" on the doors in silver. I think of it as the Evil General...
